The Red Guitar

This portrait really draws attention to the person and the instrument.  The connection is made by the accented color of the bow-tie that matches the guitar.  Is the portrait of the person or the instrument?

Communion

This is a picture I shot after a communion service at the Convocation (last post).  I like this picture for many reasons.  The two biggest are lighting and texture.  The texture of the cloth is in stark contrast to the texture of the broken bread and metal plate.  Also notice how the harsher flash captures the multitude of hues in the fabric as well as the flecks of color in the bread.

I Am The Alliance

Sample shots of people at the Alliance of Baptists Convocation.  These are just a few of the people that make up the Alliance.  Everyone is engaged in what they are doing.  1) A young woman taking time to catch up with the outside world.  2) A mother and Child both engaged in different activities.  3) Zach engaged in perfecting a podcast right after an interview.
